SMRNA Web Site Mission

The mission of the SMRNA Web Site is to provide visitors to this web site with the most up-to-date information
regarding SMRNA and present it in a manner best suited to their needs. The SMRNA Web Site may be accessed by all Internet users on a 24/7 (24 hours a day / 7 days a week) basis. The SMRNA Web Site is the most accurate source of information on SMRNA. Questions regarding the accuracy of information on the SMRNA Web Site may be directed to webmaster@smrna.me, or by using the contact form below.

Handling of Personal Information

SMRNA may request information from visitors if they choose to subscribe to e-mail lists, place orders or if they choose to respond to advertising or promotions. This personal information is necessary in order for SMRNA to fulfill the visitor’s request.  This information may also be used by SMRNA to contact or update the visitor with periodic publications from SMRNA. SMRNA does NOT share any visitor information with any other visitor or company. The visitor may unsubscribe at any time by directing their requests to webmaster@smrna.me, or by using the contact form. In the case of E-mail, only visitors who have consented to receive E-mail updates are included on E-mail lists.  To “unsubscribe” from further E-mail please send your requests to Webmaster@SMRNA.me to be removed from the E-mail list.

The SMRNA Web Site management uses IP addresses to diagnose Web Server problems and to administrate the
SMRNA Web Site. Cookies may be used to store visitor variables such as bypassing login prompts by “remembering” usernames or passwords across sessions.

SMRNA is NOT interested in collecting information on minors.

SMRNA has no desire to collect information from those under the age of 18. In an instance where such information were collected, it would be purely accidental and unintentional or by your consent to include on the Web Site.  SMRNA encourages parents to discuss the Internet with their children and monitor personal information that a child may provide via the Internet. Comments

When visitors want to leave comments on the site, they usually do so by sending email to webmaster@smrna.me.  We have activated a comment form and collect the data shown in the comment form below, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.  After approval of your comment, it may be published on the smrna.me website and your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.  Unapproved comments are not visible to the public.

Media

If you send images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Local Storage

This website uses Local Storage to save the setting when Dark Mode support is turned on or off.
Local Storage is necessary for the setting to work and is only used when a user clicks on the Dark Mode button.
No data is saved in the database or transferred.
